back *in* whenever they aired a show that included it....

Are we talking only about songs he had to censor, or about ones
released both ways by the record company? "The Twelve Gifts Of
Christmas" by Allan Sherman falls into the latter category. It was
originally released with the word "naked" on the single, but that was
edited out when it came out on LP the following year. Dr. D has

Here is another old Dr. Demento playlist just posted on dmdb.org.
This is from the KPPC days, when the show was more based on oldies and
blues than comedy. For the first six months, he was heard on Thursday
nights, usually as part of Steven Clean's show, but this is Dr.

I don't know how many requests are received each week. It
probably varies.
I posted the North Carolina visit as soon as the Doc told me about
it. I'm not sure how much notice he had about it. I will post with
